    Just bought 50 Pack of Maxell DVD-R 8x HGX made in Taiwan with Media Code RITEKG05. Does anyone have experience with those disks?

    Maxell the brand has been using RITEKG05 and RITEKG04 media for a year now, the MADE IN TAIWAN packages.

    Ritek is not very good media, no.

    If you get Maxell, buy only MADE IN JAPAN ones to get the actual MXL media.
