Hi,
I'm new to Sony Vegas 5, and just finished the VASST Vegas 5 Training DVD.
I have 3 questions regarding still images.
1. What should the resolution, image size, and bit rate be set to for digital photos to look good in video? I'm currently using 1248X1624 resolutions because I want to zoom out, 72dpi, and my bit rate is currently 8 for each photo for my 720X480 project in Vegas 5. I also have Photoshop CS.
2. When I Pan/Zoom I noticed my pictures have a wavy look to them. Sometimes it looks like heat on a summer day! It's mostly in certain areas of the photos. Some pictures do it, some don't. Any ideas why?
3. When using just digital photos, for Pan/Zoom, what should my projects setting be for 720X480 DVD? To be specific what should my Deinterlace method, and field order be set too?
Also, I can't find any books on this topic. I know PBS producers are doing this on some of their documentary, I just don't know how!
Thanks!
Matt
