    Can I choose the shape and area of the zom function so it's not just a square? I want to zoom in on one line of a slide if I can and show that particular line of text.

    You can only zoom in using the aspect ratio of the video you are working with.

    If you want to mask the area around the focal point of the zoom, you can use a png file with a transparent section, or perhaps the cookie cutter effect.
