I just bought a sleeve of 16X DVD+R's and 50 of them at that...But didn't realize I would have issues with my burner when I got them home.. I have a year old DELL that has a DVD burner model TEAC DV-W58E. I can burn to these disks. And I can explore them using windows explorer option? But they will NOT play on my PC nor on any of my DVD players? Plus they take forever to burn.. Almost 20 minutes.. Which tells me the drive is having a hard time writing to them?
I remember buying TDK disks a few months back that had a web link to get a firmware upgrade..
The memorex sleve shows a webpage but it just redirects me? Is there a fix for these new disks for older drives?
Thank you very much for your help and time.. I did by the way check TEAC's site and memorex's and can't find any info? I also googled everything I could think of too? I am out of options? Can any of you offer me some insight? I would hate to have to throw these away?
Thanks
Spankey
