Not sure that it is possible as each img file is merely a 'container' with the image inside so to speak. If it is merely data within each file, then maybe, but if the files contain a video stream that will ultimately be one continuous film then i'm not sure. If i'm wrong, i apologise and i'm sure there will be someone on this site to help you.

What i would suggest, is to extract the images (UltraISO) individually and then join together. You can then re-encode, edit, author, burn etc.etc.

Apologies if i've been no help whatsoever.

  3. Thanks for reply.....I opened UltraISO and extracted all the files from each IMG file into two seperate folders.....I'm now trying to join the mpeg2 files from each with Video Converter and I've asked it to save as dvd pal.

I expect I'll make a total mess up of this but....It's all trial and error.

Can anyone advise if I'm on the right path or can suggest a better way forward?

    Thanks again

IMG files can theoretically have anything inside them as they are just image files - VCDs or SVCDs I'm guessing in this case.

You need to extract whatever is in the IMG files, and then based on what you get out, compare this to https://www.videohelp.com/svcd#struct and https://www.videohelp.com/vcd#struct and see what you have. Then take the appropriate action depending on what it is you do have.
    If in doubt, Google it.

    OK, cool.

Do you just want this as one big file for playback on your PC, or do you want it playable on a settop DVD player ?
    If in doubt, Google it.
