I'm not sure if this is the correct title heading, nor could I find anything else in the forums that relates to this. I would like to combine several video files into one video file, but NOT one after the other. I would like to have them all displayed at once, similar to how the older versions of windows media player used to be able to have multiple instances of video running simultaneously - the newer versions of wmp no longer support this. I've created a collage, but had to take each individual video file, split it into its component frames and create new frames by cutting and pasting into photoshop. Creating 30 frames for each second of video is extremely frustrating and time consuming, even using macros. I'm not quite so concerned about combining the audio streams, as I'm probably just going to play background music. Any help that you can provide would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance for ANY help that you can give.

Well, if you have a decent editing software, you can import your video tracks and then scale it down, such that all of them fit on the screen.

This can also be done fairly easily in AviSynth using the Resize, StackVertical and StackHorizontal commands.

Ulead probably has the best built-in Ken Burns effect on the Windows platform. In Ulead VideoStudio 8, load a photo onto the timeline. You then access the Ken Burns effect this way:
1. First, be sure that the photo is selected (click on it until it is highlighted in red). You will then see the settings area for the Image tab to the left of the preview window will now display the Pan & Zoom radio button.
2. Click the button to activate the presets selector.
3. Select the down arrow and scroll through the 14 preset pans and zooms. If you don't find what you want, use the Customize Pan & Zoom button to create your own.
4. Click the Play button in the Preview window to test your Ken Burns effect. -
yes -- but ulead is no match in any other respect ..
