Hello,

I need to find out if I'm recording in dvdr or dvd video mode. All the dvd's I've recorder wont work on my lg dvd player or my samsung dvd rom on my pc. Could someone tell me how to check this. I recorder using dvd-r disc maxell brand. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm sorry, but could you be more specific. My friend has lost the manual so we're kinda screwed at the moment. At least he still has the remote

Surely there's a menu or setup button on the remote. Press it with the index finger on your left hand. Look for a submenu called Disc Setup, and then an item within that submenu called format. Here you should be able to choose between video mode or VR mode. Make your selection and press the OK or enter button on the remote with the pinky finger on your right hand.


I must say in all seriousness though that that's one damned hard manual to find - people are even selling it as a PDF on EBay - WTF ?
