When i connect a QED Qunex HDMI-P wire from my DVD recorder to my TV the screen shows a normal screen BUT in half taking up all the the whole of the TV (if that didnt make sense imagine watching a normal screen - half that screen - the half is shown but takes up the whole screen resolution on the TV)

I have tried replacing the wire - same problem
I have tried adjusting the onscreen options - same problem
I will try and speak to LG (manufacturer) on Monday as theyre closed but wondered if anyone has come across this?
