The Epson Print CD Software that comes with the R200 has dark colored circles that are the layout masks for printing placement. They indicate the inner and outer printing areas. The problem is that when a dark image is placed, it is virtually impossible to see the circles. Does anyone know a way to change the color of these circular lines so they can be changed to contrast well with any particular image?

Just bought mine and printed 2 discs so far up to the edge and turned out good. No ink on the edges.

I've had the R200 for about 8 months now. I've haven't found it possible to customize the PrintCD software. It works OK, but it's limited. One thing I've done is to create my labels in my Avery AfterBurner labeling program, save them as jpeg graphics, and then import them into the PrintCd software as an image. Works fine.
As another alternative you might want to look into Magic Mouse's Discus software at http://www.magicmouse.com/. It claims to support all direct print cds, and is supposed to be a very flexible program. -
Thanks for the tip about the Discus software. Do you know if it has the capability to change the color of the outline mask? Epson's PrintCD software does everything that I need it to do. My problem is that the dark gray mask outline color makes it almost impossible to see the outline when I'm inserting a dark color image. If there is a way to change the outline color, it would be very useful.
