    Hello.

I have very recently bought a Twinhan DVB-T capture card. ( PCI. )
And I recorded one movie ( 2:15 length ) this weekend with the VisionDTV app that came with the card.

Then I follow the guide on doom9.

    1. Record
    2. Demux with ProjectX
    3. Cut with MPEG2Schnitt ( Not needed on my recording. )
    4. DvdPatcher ( Also not needed. )
    5. Ifoedit to author.

So I record my movie, and then try to demux with ProjectX.
Now here is the big problem:
After about half the movie I get a million of these errors:
"GOP# 16514 has no PTS, use GOP TC for sync"
And at the end it will not sync after half the movie.
From what I've read here on the forum and various other places, ProjectX should fix any sync-issues if possible.

Are there any settings I could change in PX so that my movie will sync? ( I just use default, add video and press go. )
I will record with ProgDVB in the future, tried to record 50minutes last night without any errors and it plays just fine on the dvd-player. ( Haven't tried recording a 2hour+ movie just yet though. )

The original video I recorded with VisionDTV has no sync-issues, they come after demuxing.

But I really want to fix this movie, so what could I do?

This is going to require some experimentation to try and fix the file. Here's a list of apps to try - no promises that it will work.

    1) Sometimes ProjectX will take close to an hour to "fix" an especially bad file. This level of repair only happens if you choose the "Demux" choise in the dropdown window. Rather than demuxing, choose "to M2P". It will convert the file to regular Mpeg2. ProjectX will not do a complete file repair (which is a good thing in your case). Once it is done creating the .M2P file, close and re-open ProjectX (important). Choose "demux" and load the newly created .M2P file in the window. Try to demux.

    2) If your original file has a .TP or .TS extension, you can run it through MPEG2Repair . That app will ONLY work with Mpeg2 Transport Streams, however. I suspect your orginal file is PVA, however, so this might not be a solution.

    3) Try to demux with PvaStrumento http://www.weethet.nl/english/isat_eon_pva2mpeg.php#pvaext

    4) Moonlight XMuxer has a 21 Day Trial. It's very good, and might do the job.

1.) Ok, I'll try that out, thanks.

2.) My original is .mpg, but what are the differences between mpg/pva and transport stream? Any link where I can read up on it?

3.) Already tested it and it seams unstable, it just exited when trying to demux.

    4.) I'll try it if #1 don't work.

Thanks for the info, I appreciate it a lot.

Ok, well it didn't work.. But a big thanks anyway.
Best thing probably is to delete this movie and forget about it as it is probably near impossible or very hard to fix.

    And then use ProgDVB instead.
