Instant background software?

Hi guys,

Can anyone recommend a software to create simple instant video background (animated - I mean not static still image background) using just colors and having the ability to tweak their settings.

If not very sure, software using colors and simple 3D models, objects, images etc., may also be recommended

There are many apps which can do this, but -


Simple (and free) are Flaxen's Plugins for VirtualDub

Just run any video you want, and apply these filters.

Blender - free , you'll need to locate tutorials to get the grip with it .

Realsoft 3D - commercial , But free version come out on Pc World Magazine cd , november , 2003 .

Their about the best that have been given out over the last couple of years , I might have others about that are free .

I use a mixture of 3d edit tools , but blender and realsoft 3d are my main 2 I use for some of my dvd menu's ... Some funny stuff gets created here at times ...
