    How do I defeat the copy protection so I can back up my DVDs? Any specific programs I should try? Preferably Freeware? Please help. I am new to the DVD burning world.

    DVDFab Decrypter for one. Look under 'DVD Rip Tools' in the 'Tools' to the left. <<<<<<<<<<<<

    Then DVDShrink is popular to back up your DVDs. It can also do the total backup with all but the newest protection schemes. All free.

    Are you really serious. Read the guides. You use DVD Shrink or DVD decrypter
    No DVD can withstand the power of DVDShrink along with AnyDVD!
