  1. Hello
This is the first time I have this kind of an error eventhough I have followed exact steps as before.
I have a movie, a slideshow, an intro and a menu...I put a 5.1 channel on the intro and the movie and a 2.0 onto the menu and the slideshow.
The problem now is that after I compile and burn with nero the dvd is perfect on the computer (powerdvd) but when I put it into my new sony player the sound only plays the two 2.0 tracks and eventhough the picture is there the 5.0 track is missing. I have the same prob with my B&O player...

Anyway this is the first time it happens and I have used the intro on varius movies and it worked fine

    Plz help
    Thank you

  2. If it plays on the PC the track is there, obviously.

Did you try to change the audio track with the standalone's remote?

Some standalones will select the wrong track, initially.

  4. From the DVDlab help file....

The audio channel properties for DVD are set in IFO files. Sometimes the compiler may not find the proper audio header if your file comes from different sources or you use VOB as input. While the audio is muxed in the vob fine, the compiler doesn't write the audio properties to the IFO. In the 1.2 version a new option was added: Force Audio to all movies. This will check the IFO files and eventually force the audio settings there if it is missing. Also you can change it manually after compile in the menu Tools - IFO Editor - Audio
If it's not a problem with the IFO's I don't know what else it could be.

    Good luck

  5. BTW, you can check the IFO with IfoEdit and see how it's being reported.

What is the structure of the disk in DVD Lab Pro ?

If your menu and and your movie are in the same VTS, and your 2.0 audio is on the same audio track as the 5.1 is on the movie, that will probably be your problem. You must have the same audio formats on the same tracks in the same VTS or your player gets confused. It has seen 2.o channel audio on track one for that VTS and now expects 2.0 on that track for any other title in the same VTS.

To fix this, either put 5.1 audio on your menu and slideshow, or put the movie in a seperate VTS.
