  1. Hello, next week Costco will be having a promotion, buy 100 pck DVD-R and get 100 pack DVD+R for free. Are these discs good with Pioneer or NEC drives?

I disagree, I have used both and have not had any problems what so ever. As far as your original question, I can't tell you, but I have burned a few hundred of these and have no complaints. Just my two cents.

TDK DVD+R = CMC, not so good
TDK DVD-R = TDK's own TTxxx codes. Should be fine.

For some reason TDK DVD-R from Circuit City has been giving people problems, but not the TDK from any other stores. Odd.

TDK 8x DVD+R could be MBIL too (I've seen Made in India 50-disc spindles at BB).

I use the -Rs on a Pio 108 and do not have any problems at all - they burn beautifully. I've got 2 coupons and will stop by the day before they go on sale to check how the stock levels are - might have to stash some around the store.

It's such a great bargain for a quality 8X printable (.21 each) with the coupon, you definitely can't pass this up. The only drawback is that they aren't hub-printables, but what the heck, I can live with that.

  9. If they are thr "PrintOn" DVDs, the print area is 117mm x 39mm

BTW, my BTC and Pio 106D don't have any problems with them

BTW2, I do feel the print media sucks compared to ProDisc and Ritek...(e.i. not as clear and crisp)
tgpo famous MAC commercial, You be the judge?
