We are putting on a tv show on Time Warner public access channel. The format they take tapes is “beta” or “beta sp”. When looking around for a simple beta recorder I do not find one. Instead I find expensive beta players with numerous playback options. Is there a simple way to get my DV to beta? Time Warner cable only accepts beta tapes.
Thanks,

You will have to have your DV tape transferred at a professional production studio, that is if they still handle Beta SP. Most "dub houses" still do. Beta SP is a professional broadcast videotape format. Buying your own recorder (even a used one) would probably be too expensive.
