I posted ttis question last night and it has disapeared, so I am posting it again .... I have not had postings deleted in the past so I would appreciate an administrator to advise whether or not my posting are being deleted.

My nephew has 3 kids aged 8, 10 and 12. He has also purchased a number of PS2 games and the original discs are getting damaged. He wants to make backups of the games he has but does not have a clue on how to do it. He tells me he has a copy of CDRWinv4.0a which is the recommended software to do the job. Since I have never had a game of any descryption on my computer and have no knowledge of CDRWin, I do not have the knowledge to help him.

I would really appreciate advise from members who have experience in this area so that I can help him get the job done.

Thanks in advance for any help you can give me.

A quick search will give you scads of information on how to back up a PS2 disc. However, your nephew won't be able to do a thing with his backups unless he has a modified Playstation. There are far better places to look for this info than here. Have you tried a game-specific site?

Your post was moved to the off topic section by LS as this is not a game site:
