Office Depot had that a week or 2 ago. I went there the first day of the sale and the tags on the shelf listed the Memorex as the DL's on sale. I picked up 2 and went to the register and they didn't ring up on sale. I showed the cashier the ad so that she could manually ring it in and it came up as the Verbatim discs on sale so I switched. They didn't make it easy though.

Yes. Same here - $11.94. Which isn't too bad a price - but not the great deal from a few weeks ago.

Some Staples, including mine, have priced the Fuji color DVD blanks at a 'special buy' price of $9.94 again this week. Plenty of made in Japan at my store.

My local staples usually has DVD's on sale every other week. CD's are always on sale in some capacity and usually at least once a month you can find clearance or a weekly sale on DL media at Staples. Just be cautious of what your buying. A sale isn't a bargain if the media is worthless.

Same software used, same Pioneer 108 burner. So I won't be buying those again.
The Memorex DLs I've used have been fine. NO failures of any kind with the Verbatims to date, though, and I've gone through several packs of them. -
HP also makes good relatively cheap dual layer discs. Memorex is my brand of choice though for both SL and DL Media.

Well, the Taiwan discs are now taking over the Fuji sale shelf at my local Staples. i stopped in to get a few more and had to really watch to make sure I got MIJ. They have a more golden base on the lowest spindle in the packs, by the way. The Taiwanese discs have a very light yellow base.
I suppose Japanese factories are gearing up for next-gen media and have left 8x production behind. -
Bump for a great deal on some awesome media. Burning through 10 packs I bought last time, no coasters yet (not even any marginal burns). This would be the MIJ only media I bought... had to sift through the packs to find them all.
