  1. ok boys getting close now.

    pinnacle kicks butt capture as avi then make movie as vcd and very good quality

    if anyone knows how to capture right to vcd with that quality tell me

    in lieu of that i am running XP so the 4.0gig limit should not be a problem ...........but it is even though i set time in pinnacle to capture 60mins......it quit at 3.99gigs which was about 15mins of .avi

    1. how can i tell pinnacle its ok i have xp
    2. if i cant do that how can i get pinnacle to capture in
    mpeg2 or mpeg 1 format will do it that way

  2. Well, I can't help you with the file size limitation, but I still think you can get past your problem. I suggest you use huffyuv (lossless) compression. Your avi file will be almost half the size. You should be able to get 30 mins inside of 4 gigs using huffyuv. Further, if you go with mjpeg (lossy, but good) compression, you should get even more.
