OK I've read many guides, alot of useful stuff I must say. I just want to put my three svcd's onto one dvdr, I ran out of cd-r's anyways

I love SVCD2DVD, but my project without authoring is about 2.5GB so I can't use the free version.

Last time I used SVCD2MPG, my video was all blocky and out of sync.

Is there a fast way, just to get the video on one dvd. Menus right now are irrelevant, but if it's not a major task to add them, then it's fine.

Any suggestions of easy ways that don't affect the video quality?

Please note that these are in PAL format and I need them into NTSC.

divxtodvd. you must extract the video from the bins first. and i'm not sure how the pal to ntsc quality is.

Well besides the fact that that program puts a "Trail Version- DivxToDvD" across the screen, it had pixelation and color loss....

    any other suggestions?

Download the old free version of DivxToDVD here:

This does not put the trial version watermark across the screen, and is roughly twice as quick to convert .... but with very few options.
    If in doubt, Google it.

Ahh thanks this one looks better, I'll have to see how the quality turns out...just one question. It only allows me to do one file, I have three parts. If I do them all seaparate, how would I go about burning it to the same dvdr?

  6. i want to know how this turns out, i did 3 svcd's to dvdr and it worked fine but the picture was retarded, it was very small and didn't fit the screen like normal, i did it in 4:3 and 16:9. come to thing of it would merging the 3 svcd's in tpmeg encoder mess up the AR

Use the ISOBuster to extract .mpg from the svcd then use TMPGEnc XPress to join all 3 svcds and reencode into DVD format you'll end up with a large MPG file then use TMPGEnc DVD Author and then you should have the option in there to make chapters make your menu etc.. thats what I did to a couple of SVCDs that I got and they all came out ok.

Eh nevermind, I just burned them to cd-r's. But what if I have a few xvid/divx files that I want to burn to dvd-r? Is there a way to use DivxToDvd and encode each file separately then add them on the same dvd-r?

It's pretty easy - just open the first file with DiVXtoDVD, then click the 'Open' button again, select the second file, repeat for any others.
I've done up to 8 30 min. TV episodes onto 1 DVD this way - I'm not sure whats the limit of # of files you can add is.
    You can't fool me, I'm a moron!
