  1. 1/ A long time ago I thought it was promised that there would be an
option for playing menu audio once, or over-and-over. I cannot find that
option and find it annoying that my grandson's warning of adult content plays forever until a title is clicked on. What's up with that ?

2/ When I select SILENCE for menu audio in the DEFAULT SETTINGS, why are there 2 kinds of slience, MPEG & AC-3. Isn't silence, silence ?

    TIA, P-PA

    1: I will introduce this.
2: The option here is for compatability. AC-3 is required by some DVD Players for NTSC menus. Yes silence is silence but it still needs a format.

  3. 1/ Thanks CB. As mentioned in the past, PowerDVD-5 doesn't play the audio in a menu when it is present; so unwanted audio is easy to sneak past a pre-burn test and onto the DVD. I guess that loop-forever makes sense for those who put music on the menu but I will welcome the day when I can tell it to play the MP3 only once.

    2/ Understood now, thanks again.
