I am using Priemere 6.5. I am editing a small indi movie for a friend and he wants to put some out takes in the closing credits. Now before I start searching for the easiest most efficient way to do this I was wondering if anyone has tried this before and if there is a simple way to accomplish this.

Hi,
I'll be lazy too - Yes, it is possible.
In brief:
1. Choose your out takes and arrange them on a video timeline.
2. If you want to make them smaller and / or position them, use the "Transform" function.
3. Create the credits with a transparent background. In Premiere, the "black" background in the title creator is defaulted as the alpha channel and so can be made transparent very easily.
4. Place the credits in a video timeline that's higher (in number) than the out takes.
5. Enjoy the fruits of your labour...There is some corner of a foreign field that is forever England: Telstra Stadium, Sydney, 22/11/2003.
Carpe diem.
If you're not living on the edge, you're taking up too much room. -
