    hi

so I just bought million dollar baby. watched it with the girlfriend (pretty good!), and now I want to back it up.
well, I ran into a problem... and yeah I checked the forums... I couldnt find anything relating to this problem...

disc one of million dollar baby backed up without problems... however disc two isnt even recognised by my dvd drive.
    shrink? no..
    decrypter? no...

dvdfabdecrypter? well... that remains to be seen. I intend to be working on that.
regardless.... anyone hear of this? I'm in canada, LG GSA-4120B DVD writer... well.. the details should all be in the profile.
I'm especially curious about the cause and remedy for this as I am quite sure this is not new protection, people would have had a coniption fit about it by now I would think. so, that leaves me with - my drive. gotta be something there...

for the record, I was able to not only read, but RE-back up another disc I had backed up not too long ago...
so I guess then that leaves the disc eh?
    hm.
    thoughts? anyone?

    mmm. I will...
trouble is... nothing (YET) is even detecting a disc in the drive.
I cant even access it through exploring within windows ('please insert a disc...')
    .
once I get past THAT bump, I'll work on programs. but seriously guys, thanks, and keep ideas coming,

Nothing good on that disk. Just a Bravo show and a puff piece.

  5. Did you try to play disc 2 on your player? If it doesn't work in your player then it's pretty certainly a bad disc and you should get it replaced.

If it works in your player but not in your PC, then it still might be a bad disc. Try it on another PC or two.

While I had no problem with disc 2, I would not have put much effort into it if there were problems. Disc 2 really isn't worth backing up, IMHO.
