I have got Smartripper which is great wonderful and all that, but I assumed that if I've got that I didn't need to keep Gordian Knot so I uninstalled it. NowSmartripper isn't working! Should I have kept Gordian Knot? Are they somehow conected? I downloaded them as two seperate things. It comes up No ASPI adapter available which it did before anyway, then it says some files still locked, which it sometimes did and sometimes didn't. But now when I try to start the rip it just sits there and doesn't do anything. When I try to close it to start again it's not responding.
All I'm doing is making music videos for myself.
Any help greatly appreciated, thanks. I know nothing so make it simple!!!![]()

Uninstalling Gordian Knot may have fooked up your ASPI layer by the sounds of it. Google for ForceASPI and give that a go. You may also want to try reinstalling smartripper.
EDIT:
ForceASPI was in the Tools section here - http://www.afterdawn.com/software/cdr_software/cdr_tools/frcaspi.cfmIf in doubt, Google it.
