I am getting a mac within the next 2 months, and I would like to convert some of my VHS movies that were never released on DVD over, what hardware and software is needed to do this?

EYETV
A picture is worth a thousand words, but a good camera is worth about a thousand bucks. -
if self recorded (from cable) then just a canopus or pyro will be ok.
if commercially released vhs, you will also need
a Macrovision busting box,
known as a "video stabilizer"."Everyone has to learn, so that they can one day teach."

When I'm not here, Where can I be found?

if you have a dvd recorder you can use that with a "video stabilizer" and not have to use the computer at all...

My eyetv 250 converts macrovision tapes.
I don't know if the eyetv 250 plus does as well.
If anyone else know I would like to know because I am thinking of upgradingA picture is worth a thousand words, but a good camera is worth about a thousand bucks.
