    I recently bought a Philips DVP3010-DVD player.
I have got a Video DVD called "Robin Hood Special Collection (Walt Disney)" (Year of publication: 2002) for 2 days now.

In <Bonus Material> there is the game <Robin Hood's Merry Games>. At level 1 there are
10 questions to different movie events.

Every question assigns to a distinct chapter in the same theme.

    Examples:
    1) Question 1: TT: 9/17; CH: 180/192
    2) Question 2: TT: 9/17; CH: 181/192
    ….
    10) Question 10: TT: 9/17; CH: 189/192

Unfortunately, the game is not playable on the DVP3010 player.

    My guess:
Because the input field for the chapter number is only two-digit and the number base is decimal, the player cannot place the reading head to chapter numbers greater than 99.

    Is this correct?
Are there other DVD players with the same limitation?

Thanks and advance for every information related to this problem.

I think that 99 chapters are not your player's limitation. I have never seen a DVD authoring program that offers more than 99 chapters on a titleset.
The more I learn, the more I come to realize how little it is I know.
