Im trying to split a divx movie using virtual dub, for 690M limit of my bunner.
after the split, the video saves properly, but the audio does not save fully.
only 40% of sound i can get from the beggining of new segment clip. why?

VirtualDUB dont handle MP3(VBR)ĦBAC3 audio
try NanDub (www.nandub.org)

I had exactly the same problem
just set the audio to full processing mode and GO!
the .avi file will ofcourse be 100 to 1500mb bigger in size (depends on the length of the movie) but you will have audio all the way, and in sync!
