    i am thinking of buying the Plextor ConvertX PX-TV100U from

    for the money is their a better solution for the money

    The 100U series rely too much on your CPU and can cause you headaches in the long run. You are better off buying the TV402U units or a Hauupauge capture/tuner IMO.
