I have pioneer drv 310s
The problem is when i record on a brand new disc and play it back it will skip and freeze and it dosent happen in the same spot. Infact i have tried 3 news discs i have the same problem. The 3 discs i used are Shintaro dvd-rw and before you say they are rubbish and cheap i haven't had any problems with them in the past. I also have a Imatation disc and had the same problem. How ever when i try to record on the disc again it will load and say it cant record. I still have a old Shintaro disc and a old TDK disc when i record and playback there is no problems. At first i belive it was the new discs that were faulty so i took these back and got the same ones plus Imitation dics. But i now think it could be the player though i still cant work out why i have no problems with the old ones. And the discs are all minus and at 2 speed which is required for this player. Anyone have suggestions.![]()

Some players are very picky about the brand/type of media that they like. Your best bet is to sample various brands until you find one your player is happy with.
