Is there a way to password protect either an mpeg file or a clip mastered through a dvd authoring program?

There is probably an app that can password-protect files, but I would imagine that your end-users would probably require the same program.
There are some tutes for using DVD-lab / DVD-lab pro to create a keypad effect that works on settop players here, here or here that are probably the best I've seen so far. Easy to workaround with the right tools though. If in doubt, Google it.
