I recorded some TV shows using my WinTV PVR USB2 but I had my coxial cables split wrong, where the quality wasn't very good, so basically, now the picute looks like it's made of fairly big squares. It's also somewhat rough looking like it's animated almost.
Is there anyway to help with my problem? If you do not understand what I mean, I have posted a quick sample of the video.
It's using the XViD codec.

That is kinda how it looks! Though, I think it might just be because of how I recorded it. Even if I can fix it, how do I go around changing the bitrate?

You need to change the bitrate you recorded at, which means re-recording the show(s). There's a few AVISynth / Virtualdub filters you could try to clean your current files up a bit, but if it's as bad as that example, IMHO you're better off just pressing the Delte button right now, cause you're not gonna improve it all that much.
If in doubt, Google it.
