    im trying to play a dvd from my desktop to my laptop over a network. so far ive tried dvdshrink, which only made .vob files that i couldnt play. next i tried playing directly from the dvd drive using vlc, but that didnt work either. lastly i tried using mpc; no luck there. suggestions for alll three as well as new ones are appreciated.
