I have been trying to burn mpegs to a dvd using nero 6. Every time i burn it it is burnt succesfully according to nero. When i try to play it on my standalone dvd palyer (which is a mitsubishi) the dvd will play for about 10 sec the it will start to play in slow motion and i can not here any more sound. I have used both dvd+r and dvd-r. Can somebody help me please? Thx

You must author the mpegs first using something like TMPGEnc DVD Author

I would also recommend creating an ISO image from the VIDEO_TS folder outputted by TMPGEnc DVD Author with DVDShrink or IMGTool Classic so that you can burn with the best app DVDDecrypter and make sure you burn at a slow speed eg 4x
The blank DVD media is also important.
Personally I trust Verbatim DVD+R 8x (with MCC 003 lead in code)if you can also change the booktype to DVD-ROM so that the DVD+R is more compatible with your DVD Player.
Use a good Mpeg Encoder like CCE , TMPGenc Plus or MainConcept MPEG Encoder.
Nero has been known to be problematic when burning DVD.
