When I add a text generated media event to the timeline, the video event fx dialog appears so I can type the text, set the colors and placement, etc. It's a pain having to click that little x to close the dialog. Is there a keystroke that will save my changes , close the dialog and put me back in the timeline?
I've tried ESC, CTRL+ENTER, ENTER...no dice.
I read in the vegas help that you can bypass the dialog completely by holding down SHIFT when dropping a video fx on an event, but in this case, I do need to make changes in the dialog (type the text, etc.) before applying the fx.
Thanks!
Gary
