I have tried many combinations, but I can't get a "clean burn". I am ripping the video using DVD Decryptor, importing to Encore, inserting my own menu, then burning. No need for Skrink or anything like that. The disc will start to play in my DVD player, but if I fast forward for a while, the disc will lock up and go back to the menu I created. On my PC, when fast forward, after a while, the DVD player program I am using will lock up.
Anything I should do before this process? I stopped all the services I can think of on my computer, but I can normally burn with minimal service stoppage. I've also tried rebooting just before the burn. They are not coming out coasters, but they might as well be, since they lock up and go to the menu after 15-20 minutes, but that varies.
Thanks!

Will they play all the way through? Do they only lock up during FF? Does you video and audio meet DVD spec?

Yeah, they do meet DVD spec. I'm not changing the video at all from the original rip.
No, when I find out where it locks up, I go there again, but this time, only about 7 seconds before. I let it play until that point, and there is locks up again. -
Try saving the files or image to the HD instead of letting Encore burn the DVD. Then try playing the movie from the files.
It could be a bad image from Encore, a bad burn with whatever software you are burning with, or maybe even bad media.Google is your Friend
