    Hi!
    i don't know why...
    a lot of videos that i watch have a very slow frame rate.
    i have 1Ghz 256Mb 80Gb-hdd{8MbCache} TnT2-32MB video adapter.
    winXP pro sp2 with all the new updates.

    can someone help?
    (is there a way to accelerate video playback?)

    try play with videolan. does it work fine? then you might have some codec problems.
