Maxell @ Office Depot $17.99 50 pack DVD-R & DVD+R

Picked some up this morning. The DVD-R are RitekG05 and the DVD+R are Maxell 002
In case anyone was wanting to know...............

The spindle on the DVD-R RITEK G05 must have said MADE IN TAIWAN. Is the DVD+R spindle MADE IN JAPAN or MADE IN TAIWAN? I am assuming it is MADE IN JAPAN correct me if I am wrong.

I haven't seen any MIT +R yet...while the MIJ -R is very hard to find these days.

I saw plenty of MIT Maxell 8x +R at Fry's today, but not knowing what media code they are I passed. I bought a 10 pack of Maxell Color 8x +Rs in slimine cases, made in Taiwan, thinking they'd be RICOHJPNR02 but they turned out to be RITEKR03.

The Maxell dvd media sale at Office Depot doesn't start here in Hawaii until next Sunday, July 3, 2005. I've checked the OFFICE DEPOT near my office and I haven't seen one MADE IN JAPAN spindle for -/+. I'll be checking another location before the sale starts here. It's unfortunate that Maxell has decided to outsource their dvd media to other manufacturers.

I bought a 25 pack spindle of Maxell Printable DVD+R MADE IN JAPAN from Wally worlds for $16.00 which isn't a bad price at all.

All the DVD+R were Made In Japan. Picked up 2. Media is Maxell 002.

I got a tub of +R, and a tub of -R. -R was Maxell RG03, gold topped, not yellow like the TYG02 discs. +R are a really light shade of baby blue, and are the Maxell 002's.

both made in japan, didnt see any taiwan at my local store. (Reno, Nevada)
