  1. Ok, it's been a while since I've done this...I've got an .avi file I want to burn to dvd...what is the best way to do this?

    Hi,

    Use a program like TMPGENC to convert it to mpeg 2 and then load that into our dvd authoring program.

    Some dvd authoring programs will convert avi to mpeg for you but if you do it first you get more control over it some times. (depending on which programs you use and what you want to do to it).

    You need to search the "How To", the guides and the forum on the following:

    Encode (or convert) AVI to MPG / MPEG2
    Authoring

    These will also list innumerable tools...
