in a couple words, you can't. extracting RARs required that they all be present.
I'd like to be able to do that as well, sadly.

just extract as normal but make sure the following is checked:

Then you will keep the contents of the archive. There after it depends what was in there.... mpgs no problem, vobs - use MPC, bin - extract with isobuster, avi - not sure but i have done it.. it is possible.

    You can try the following:
Get some of the first RAR archives from the set.
When extracting enable the option "Keep broken archives"
You can extract the RAR archives now and when there are no more available you can cancel and keep the partially extracted file.

Most partially movie files you then can playback with a good player like Mediaplayer Classic or AVIPreview.

Ofcourse when there's only a disk image inside things get more complicated. 8)

i think i know what "movies" you're talking about.. most of them use no compression when rar'd, because they're already highly compressed, so using rar compression would pretty much be useless.. but what is useful is to rename one of the rars with an .mpg extension and view through your desired movie player..

  9. if the movie is actually compressed using rar compression then u won't be able to simply play the rar file (or some files from a set) in windows media player.

if its just an uncompressed file packaged in a rar archive then u can play it in a variety of different players, although some are more tolerant of errors than others. it will most probably be like this if it is a movie file as WinRAR automatically won't compress some file types like MPG, ZIP, and RAR when it adds them to archives.
