    I used a program called HDTVtoMPEG2, and it did join the files. But, it cropped almost 2/3 of the video and there wasn't any sound. It's a HDTV show, and I just wanted to convert it successfully. Thanks in advance for any help.

    You may have to run the files through MPEG2Repair before joining them.

    I just ran the repair program. No errors found. Any other suggestions?

    It's probably crazy, but try just joining the files in DOS.

    Copy part1.ts+part2.ts joined.ts
