I am on the lookout for a decent vcr to use to transfer tapes to my pc - my preference is for JVC HRS8965/7965, but they seem to be rarer than rocking horse jobbies! I have also considered the DVS1, but the price is a little more than I want to spend right now (£400+)
I have found the Panasonic NV SV121 which has the features I think I need - NTSC playback, TBC and 3D noise reduction. Does anyone have experience with this model - I can get one for £137 new, so the price is right.
Any advice would be appreciated.
