    Hi,

I would like to know how to rotate a video in Adobe Premiere Pro.
This function is easily available in Movie Maker ... so I think it shoul exist in Adobe !

    Any idea ?

Hi, Carheim. I'm surprised no one has replied to you yet. I use Premiere Pro "Lite" AKA Premiere Elements, so the filters should be similar.

You can rotate a video in Video Effects ==> Distort ==> Transform ==> Rotation. If you need to rotate 90 degrees, just type in "90" in the appropriate place. I'm sitting here viewing a recent clip sideways. Works for me!

Ken, that works great, but its work.
EVERY clip has "rotate" applied to it by default in Premiere pro!
    With the clip highlighted,
    JUST GO WINDOW>EFFECT CONTROLS>and expand
(the little trangle) next to "MOTION" on the efect controls window
THE FOURTH PARAMATER is ROTATION...adjust with wheel control or numerial entry here

any way Kens right too! Thats why we like premiere..lotta options!

Right you are! Standard in every clip. I usually plumb the depths of my programs but the 'nooks and crannies' in these editors are cavernous! Thanks for info. -- Ken
