    i am interested in getting a 5-disc dvd player but am not sure which one to get, i have heard that the pioneer dvc-503 is just like the dv-333 and that one plays everything. the other one i was interested in was the panasonic cv-51. any input would be appreciated. my main use for it is to play non standars vcd's and svd's so if anyone has one that plays them all please let me know thanks

    I have the 503 and it has played everything I've thrown at it.

    Including : vcd, svcd, sevcd (vbr mpg 1 1150 x 224), sxvcd (vbr mpg 2 1150 x 224)

    Only problem is no Mp3's But that's life. My Bud also has a 3 disc $ 90.00 Apex that plays everything I've mentioned above plus mp3's

    when you play a vbr mpeg 1 vcd does the audio skip?
