I had a movie file that totaled 1.6gb. It downloaded in two folders (labled cd1, and, cd2.) Each folder had multiple .rar files. When I opened the .rar files, they became .bin and .cue files.
Now, from what I can tell by "googling," it is virtually impossible to join these type of files. But, as I understand it, if I were to convert the .bin to .iso, then convert the .iso files to .mpeg2 using Nero, DVDecyrptor, or similar. I can then take these mpeg2s, and, merge them using TMPGEncoder Plus, and, then burn the result to a regular blank DVD. IF I had did all of this would it have worked?

Why not just extract what's in the bin files using this guide, then convert each part to MPEG-2 separately using TMPGEnc Plus if required, and then authoring to DVD (and thus joining the files together) ?

That's the way I'd do it, anyway ...

this sticky may also come in useful.
    If in doubt, Google it.

The method you suggested seems to have worked. I was able to see the file after extracting the .mpeg from the .cue file through powerdvd. I tried it through WMP, and, the format apparently is incompatible with that. I was going to try Nero Media player, but thought I would use powerdvd instead.
TMPGEncoder was able to join the two parts, is presently converting to .mpeg2. I'll then use DVD author to finish the conversion. I may try to see if Nerovision will take the DVD file, and, burn it to DVD. (It has not wanted to take .avi files to convert, and, then burn to DVD. I've got an open issue about this with Nero.) If Nerovision won't, or, if I get lazy, I'll let DVD auhtor finish the job.
