I try to convet mkv anime file.
I use mkv extract to extract the video, audio and subtitle.
After that I mux it to avi,I realize that the audio and video didn't sync.
I try to see the movie length (divx),after I mux it, the video length is 20:33,but when I see the mkv file before I mux it,the movie length is 23:11.That's why the audio didn't sync after I mux it.
Why is that happen? Where the 2 minutes video gone.
can someone explain it? How to convert it right?because if I use the mkv file straight to tmpgenc to make the dvd,the mpeg result is bad.Too many lag to the background.
I need all the help I can get.
Thanks before that.

Your MKV would be VFR. Quite common for anime. Try the search function as there have already been quite a few posts.
