Hi,
Is there a way of taking a music video and inserting other footage into it whilst leaving the original soundtrack as it is.
eg. A music video that contained clips from a film, that you wanted to replace the film clips with clips of the band. The footage that was being left would have to remain in synch...
Am I making myself clear?
The software that I have at present is
Womble and Ulead Moviefactory 4.

You should be able to do that with any of the video editing software.
For example: say you have a 10 second segment that you want to insert....you would just remove/insert or replace (depending on your software) 10 seconds of the original file with your 10 second clip. Just make a note of the total length of the file as your new file should be the same. As long as you cut and add segments of the same size everything should turn out fine.Google is your Friend
