    Hi there! I am currently burning using an LG 4160, with very little problems. Recently I've noticed that i'm left with a 1 inch line on the inside edge of the DVD... it doesn't seem to cause a problem, but at the same time I can't believe that line is supposed to be there.

    Has anyone else encountered this?

    My BenQ does that to my TY -R 8x discs if I try to burn them at 8x. My Benq (1620Pro) likes +R's better than -R's....not sure why.
    My LG4040B (a 4x burner only) does NOT do it.
    My theory?...I have none to offer....

    Do you have padding enabled in your burning software?
