okay, have done massive searching online and in this forum, but can't seem to find a difinitive answer, so i suspect one does not exist.

    so this is the scenario:

i have some DVD's in PAL that need to be converted to DVD's in NTSC.
since they are pressed discs, i loaded the audio/video TS folder to my HDD and used Fast DVD Copy to compress them to fit on a DVD-5.

now that they are compressed, i need to convert the whole Video_TS folder (VOB's, BUP and IFO's) into NTSC.

the only thing i have seen out there that will do this only converts the VTS from the VOB's.

what i want to avoid is having to extract all the elements one by one and have to rebuild the whole project.

since the PAL project is perfect just as is, i'm afraid that for example subtitle conversion will not go smoothly.

any help in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.

by the way, any program in OS X would be ideal (i know, i'm pushing my luck already).

    thanks again

I've used Procoder 2 with good results. The only downside is that afterwards I have to demux the files again and re-encode the audio back to DD5.1 in Vegas. As I mentioned in another topic, I can't seem to get it to accept PAL DD5.1 as input and output to NTSC DD5.1. I'm not a perfectionist, so I'm of the opinion that "Audio is Audio, it's the same length" and using the PAL DD5.1 track on a NTSC after re-authoring with TMPEG DVD Author and it looks fine. Again, this is only when I do it for personal use, for work I go through the extra demuxing step.

You didn't search too hard, as it gets asked pretty regularly. This is probably the best response as far as details go. But converting a whole disk AND keeping everything intact is not straight forward.
