I own a Toshiba 23HLV84 23" TV with DVD player. It is a slot time DVD player that allows the DVD to be pulled into the player attached to the side of the TV. I have purchased a miniDVD camcorder which records on 3" (8cm) mini DVDs. The Toshiba owner's manual says I can play 3" DVDs in the player WITH AN ADAPTER. I called Toshiba and they couldn't find it in the parts catalog, despite it being in their owner's manual. Does anyone know of some sort of adapter that converts a 3" DVD into a 5" DVD so I can play it directly on this player. It currently will only allow 5" to be pulled into the machine. I am stumped.

They sometimes sell at record stores near the 3"CD singles area.

I got mine ~1992, so I don't know how easy it is to get now, nor how much $$, but they were cheap then, just a bit of plastic donut ring with springy clip things to hold it on.

    Do a google search..
