Im putting VHS onto a RAM disk on my Panasonic DMR E50, I need to rip it to the HD on the pc to edit, add chapters etc then re-burn. I can only get DVD Decrypter to rip it, it takes about 1 and a half hours to get onto the HD and only in ISO format. How do I make it into a mpeg to edit it before reburning onto a DVD-R?

what i do is copy the contents of the dvd ram disk to my hard disc. i just use windows explorer and explore the disk, then drag the contents to my hard drive. it takes like 1/2 hour to transfer to my pc. then i use tmpgenc dvd author and open those files and author my dvd.

If you have a VRO file you can rename it to *.mpg
Btw, there are quite a lot of topics on this for you on the board.
