  4. The thing is it is my sister in laws DVD photo wedding slideshow story. There are a bunch of her and her husband's baby photos on the DVD against music. She can't play the DVD on her DVD player. My guess it was burnt in a format that is not readable by her DVD player. The DVD has a folder with some bup files. My photo story program doesn't recognize these files. The person who had created the slideshow must have used a different program than mine. Is there a way to copy these files from the DVD and reburn the slideshow using a different format?

Just rip it and reburn to a different disc, most likely the type of disc it's on (i.e +r or -r) is not compatible with her player. You can look up her player to the left under DVD players for disc compatibility. That's probably the most common cause for a DVD to play in one player and not another. Since it's not a true commercial DVD there is probably no forms of protecion on it. Just copy it using your burning software. If you want to rip out individual video files or have trouble copying it try DVD Decrypter

If your trying to extract the images on the DVD for still images you could just take screenshots using something like PowerDVD, be aware though that the images are very low resolution and would only produce a good quality printed image if you printed them at roughly the size of a postage stamp or a little larger.
